Dr. Larry Suher is out to make the community smile by offering free dental work during this June’s Dentistry From The Heart event.

Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) is a national non-profit organization that offers free dental care for adults in need.  Florida dentist, Dr. Vincent Monticciolo founded the organization as a means to give back to the community and address the growing number of people without dental insurance.  In the past 15 years, DFTH events have contributed over $7 million dollars in free dental care and helped over 300,000 patients across the country.

In the past six years, Dr. Suher and his team of dentists, sponsors, and volunteers have helped hundreds of people- treating patients in need of fillings, extractions, and cleanings.  This year’s event promises to be the largest yet.

“It all comes down to wanting to provide something greater to the community,” said Dr. Suher.  “The services provided from Dentistry From The Heart help more than just a patient’s teeth, it gives them a renewed reason to smile.”

The event will take place on Wednesday, June 22nd at Dr. Suher’s office in Monroeville.  Patients will be treated from 8am until 1pm.  Patients are encouraged to arrive early, as they will be seen on a first come, first serve basis.
